Silk Scarf Customization Process Explained

Whether domestic or overseas, the logic is the same: you provide the artwork, the factory produces. Below we explain each step from an export perspective.

1. Send artwork & requirements

Provide artwork files (JPG / PNG / AI / PDF / PSD / TIFF, recommended 150–300 dpi), and tell us fabric, momme, size, printing (single/double-sided), hem technique and quantity. Overseas customers prefer WhatsApp for artwork transfer; max 2 GB per file.

2. Quote & confirm

The factory gives a per-piece USD quote per the price list (FCA Dongguan (Incoterms® 2020) — delivered to our Dongguan factory; international freight and insurance borne by the buyer). MOQ 1 piece; single-piece customization supported; mixing different designs in one order is more economical.

3. Sampling

Before bulk, a sample can be made (paid or per policy) to confirm color, pattern registration, hem and hand feel, then scale to bulk to avoid batch deviation.

4. Production & full piece-by-piece inspection

Starching → digital/screen printing → steaming → washing → hand or machine hemming → full piece-by-piece inspection. Lead time counted from deposit receipt and artwork confirmation: 1–10 pieces about 7–9 days, 100+ pieces about 9–15 days (to be negotiated).

5. Shipping

Balance paid before shipment, international express / freight collect. The whole order allows ±2% quantity variance; the final balance is settled based on the actual quantity shipped.
